What is the push-pull leg method you ask…?

Well, to sum it up, a push-pull workout is one where you choose a muscle group and perform a set of exercises that use those muscles in a pushing direction. Then immediately or during your next workout, you focus on that same muscle group, but you move in a pulling direction.

Sound complicated? It’s not. Just keep reading, and you’ll get where I’m coming from…

As much as you probably hear it from other people in the gym… Everyone is different, but that doesn’t mean their muscles are going to respond to the same workout as yours does and vice versa…

For example, if you focus on specific muscle groups, you might end up working your arms  (biceps and triceps) two days in a row…

With the Push Pull Leg method… You limit that since the muscles you use to push and pull are not the same…

Therefore, “never skip leg day”…You got to get in that leg day to give the upper body a rest…

That means you get better recovery time for the muscle groups and can mess around with the tempo, rhythm, consistency or frequency and weight amount…
