Stretching

Stretching should be on the top of people’s healthy to-do lists…

Unfortunately it’s not… Adding it to your daily routine can be highly beneficial… It shows that post-workout stretching, where you hold a pose for 10 to 30 seconds. Also it can improve range of motion around your joints… Some call this “Static Stretching”…

Stretching after you exercise can help move inflammation out of your muscles… While the best time to stretch is when muscles are warm… After a walk or a workout, stretching is so beneficial that whenever you can, you should stretch…It’s definitely not the most exciting part of working out… Adding some stretching exercises into your workout schedule will help you improve flexibility, reduce tightness, and ultimately, make your workouts more efficient and safe… I know myself, I wake up daily and stretch, don’t get me wrong… Some days are lazy and i just point the toes, raise my arms over my head, yawn and even roll my neck from side to side…

When your muscles are loose and stretchy, they’re less restricted and tight… This allows you to move them wider a full range of motion… For example, greater range of motion in your hips and knees will allow you to do a deeper squat… Having a greater Range Of Motion will make it so you’re able to do more exercises and do them properly…
